The new JETPHARMA range of feeders has been developed in order to perfectly control the feeding rate, an important parameter in the micronization process to guarantee the results’ scalability from the MC One® throughout the whole range of production MC JETMILLs®.
The "nanofeeder" is the new monoscrew feeder specifically studied and designed for the MC One, the smallest fluid jet mill available on the market - but thanks to its innovative technical features, it can also be utilized for all the feeding applications in which "ACCURACY" and "PRECISION" for quantities from 0.2 up to about 20 grams are requested.
The "minifeeder" is the execution on a bigger scale of the "nanofeeder", studied for the feeding requirements of the MC JETMILL® 50 (micronization of small quantities from 5 up to 150 grams).
Both feeders work:
   - on the principle of volumetric transport - the product is discharged from the hopper with a
      constant volume per unit of time by regulating the speed of the feeding device;
   - and using the law of gravity
which allow a precise and constant feeding for quantities of product with granulometric size below 1000 µm for particles and below 1500 µm for agglomerates.
The development of the new "nanofeeder" from the R&D Department of JETPHARMA GROUP is the direct consequence of the micronization process optimization of the MC One.
The special internal design, geometric shape and inclination of the "nanofeeder" and "minifeeder" has been optimized to increase the product flow-ability and to obtain very small quantities of residual product - less than 0.1 grams.
They are characterized by their easy and quick disassembling and cleaning (Swab Test) process that avoids any possible cross-contamination; all parts in contact are mirror polished (Ra 0.25 µm) , AISI 316L and FL PTFE.
Completely realized in stainless steel and PTFE, provided by platinum cured silicone gaskets, the "nanofeeder" and "minifeeder" are the only feeders that can process very small quantities, with the maximum accuracy following a cGMP philosophy.
